Baby-on-a-bike - 5000km, 5 countries - 1 NSW family's adventure to help mums and children in need

5000 kms from Barcelona to the Baltic on a bike is a challenge alright! But what about tackling the adventure with a two-year-old in tow?  That is exactly what Michael and Shoshanna Hindmarsh from Sydney have just completed over the past 3+ months to help raise funds for Clinica Verde!

Clinica Verde provides pre- and post-natal care for mothers and children in a remote area of rural Nicaragua (where 25% of children are chronically malnourished). It is the sort of support that those of us in developed countries may easily take for granted.

Response to Typhoon Haiyan, Philippines

Response to Typhoon Haiyan, Philippines

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to all those impacted so severely by the typhoon disaster in Philippines - news is still coming in about the full scale of damage and recovery effort: Recent reports indicate that of 11.5 million directly affected (~10% of the population), it is estimated ~5,000 have been killed, over 12,500 injured and over a 130,000 homes have been totally destroyed.

And so the long hard road of rebuilding communities begins...

Help shape a brighter future for communities in Asia-Pacific - Membership Applications

As Meal-a-Day continues to grow in Asia-Pacific, there is increasing support for and desire to see the Fund formally registered with the Australian Government, and help achieve additional benefits that come with this status. At our AGM on 10 January 2014, the proposed new governance model and corresponding Constitution were successfully approved and Meal-a-Day has since successfully become a registered charity with the Australian government.

Announcement of 2014 Annual General Meeting

As advised earlier in the year, Meal-a-Day is now an Australian registered charity - and thanks to the generous support from around the country and God's supreme guidance, we're continuing to build our team and the foundations for Meal-a-day to help many more communities across Asia Pacific.

As a public company, the Board are pleased to announce our inaugural AGM will be held on:
